Appointments We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in Higganum, CT so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.
Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. We are a participating provider for Anthem/Blue Cross of CT, Delta Dental of NJ and CIGNA PPO. In addition we submit all other dental insurances as a service to our patients, with their co-payments due at the time of service. Higganum Dental does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
Payment Options
We are all aware of increasing healthcare expenses and the effect they can have on a family budget. We are sometimes faced with the situation where a patient desperately needs and wants extensive treatment, but their insurance coverage (or lack of) leaves them in financial constraints. For these reasons we provide the following payment options:
- For all services over $900.00 a book-keeping courtesy of 5% will be extended when payment is made on the entire case fee upon agreement of treatment. (PPO insurance and Financing excluded).
- For all services over $900.00 we offer The Dental Fee Plan through Capital One Healthcare Finance. Low monthly payments that fit your budget, no hidden charges or fees. Payment Plans can start as low as 1.9% ARP, Interest Free Options are also available through the DFP. - Payments may be made during the course of treatment. One half of the total case fee is due upon agreement and the remaining half before completion.
- We accept cash check, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
- We welcome Dental Insurance. Our Insurance Coordinator will be happy to answer all your questions and help you verify your benefits. As a courtesy we are happy to bill your insurance company for you.
